Brad Raffensperger moved to Georgia 40 years ago to raise a family and start a small business. As a licensed structural engineer, Professional Engineer, licensed in 40 states, and licensed General Contractor in Georgia and other states, Raffensperger successfully founded Tendon Systems, a provider of high-strength steel for construction projects. Under his ownership, Tendon Systems grew to become the southeast's largest post-tensioning specialist contractor with approximately 150 employees and projects in over 40 states. He also founded Trillium Structures, a structural design consulting firm with commercial mid-rise and high-rise projects throughout the southeast.
Our own Andre' Hadley Marria will be visiting our club as District Governor. We will be meeting at the Bobby Hines Jail Justice Center for a cookout for our First Responders. Please plan to join us!
It's a long held tradition for our club to meet at Vashti on the Thursday before Thanksgiving. Vashti staff will provide a delicious Thanksgiving meal, an update on Vashti's programs for children will be given by Executive Director David Sofferin, and club members will leave a donation to Vashti in appreciation for their good works. At the meeting, the winner of the $2000 raffle for downtown dollars will be drawn and announced.
We will have a special weekly meeting on 11/30 at The Plaza recognizing our Students of the Month and donating an official check to The United Way of Thomas County from funds raised at this year’s annual Rotary Golf Classic.
