DeShay Williams is a seasoned business owner and operator of Definitions Fitness Studio with a 26 year track record in the industry. Passionate about collaboration and empowering aspiring entrepreneurs, DeShay has taken on a new role as the Executive Director of Spark Thomasville. With a strong belief in the power of education, training, and coaching, DeShay is fully committed to working with local entrepreneurs and fostering relationships to build a stronger, more economically viable Thomasville community.

Born in Peoria, Illinois, she has been a nomad across the United States, calling Thomasvillle home for the last six and a half years and working for the Thomas County Public Library System for the same, currently acting as Marketing and Outreach Coordinator. Samantha is an avid reader and immensely enjoys the art of la dolce far niente. About One Book Thomas County: One Book Thomas County is South Georgia's first-ever One Book festival. Like so many cities and communities across the country, Thomas County is annually devoting its time and energy into reading one book together as a community. Each year, our county spends a week honoring a selected book and its author(s), conducting a variety of community events designed to get people excited about literacy. Now in its eighth year, One Book continues to bring the entire Thomas County area together with the power of the written word.
