At the club's first regular meeting at Vashti, Marta and board members will revisit progress made on addressing issues identified by members in our membership satisfaction study in May 2024 and update membership on financials, projects, goals, what's ahead for the last half of this Rotary year. We will be asking for members input on several matters as we work to serve the community through projects, offer interesting and enjoyable programs, encourage connection and good relations among our membership. | 10 | 11 |

Broad St. -- HOTC & ROTARY CLUB Members are encouraged to support this joint Manna Drop, which is in lieu of our club's fresh produce drop at Weston Park. Our members will assist with delivery of non-perishables and fresh foods to 200 households. Please arrive by 7:45 am and be ready to distribute food by 8 am. This is in keeping with our desire to coordinate with other organizations in the community and to be prudent in our use of resources. Our intent is to partner with other groups to avoid having two or three separate food drops in any one week. 8 Manna Drop at Restoration Tabernacle Manna Drop in conjunction with HOTC and Second Harvest on Saturday, January 18 replaces our regular monthly Fresh Produce Drop at Weston Park. Members will assist with this community manna drop. |

Recently elected Thomas County Sheriff Tim Watkins will be our speaker. Sheriff Watkins will update members on issues and opportunities as he takes the leadership role. Watkins is the first new Sheriff in decades and follows Sheriff Carlton Powell who retired in 2024 after almost 50 years in the position. Also, as we do every fifth Thursday, we will share a few important events from our club's history and remind members of club traditions. | 31 | |
