Thursday, Jan. 22 All the Buzz ApiariesRepresentatives from All the Buzz Apiaries will present our program this week. The organization offers a variety of services, including consultation and mentoring for new or aspiring beekeepers as well as management services if you would like bees on your property but do not want to handle them yourself. They also offering beekeeping classes for beginning or experienced beekeepers. Bee sure to join us for this week's meeting to learn more about the all-important honey bees, their habitat, and the delicious honey they produce. This is sure to be an interesting meeting! 
Saturday, Jan. 31 Volunteer: Multicultural CelebrationThe Thomasville City Spanish Club, along with language clubs from Brookwood School and Thomas County Central High School, will host their annual Thomasville Multicultural Celebration on Saturday, Jan. 31 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the fairgrounds. As a vital part of Thomasville’s multicultural community, the Rotary Club of Thomasville has been invited to host an informational booth highlighting the history of Rotary and our current service projects, including the Community Market and GRSP. This booth presents an excellent opportunity to promote the Rotary brand, share our mission, and engage with the broader community. To staff the booth throughout the day, we are seeking 10 Rotarians to volunteer their time. Shifts can be arranged to accommodate schedules. Jan. 31 District Conference Price Increase ComingThis year's district conference is Thursday, April 16 – Sunday, April 19 at Lake Lanier Island Resort. Foundation and the Rotary Club of Thomasville are planning the inaugural Thomasville Ritz Music Festival on Saturday, March 21, featuring an incredible variety of music performances – country, R&B, country rock, pop, southern soul funk, and music from some of the best DJs in the Southeast. Proceeds from the festival will benefit R.E.A.D. and power its literacy initiative and support other life-changing programs and partnerships for children in K-12 schools in our community.
