Annual Larry Frosteg Pelham International Student Weekend: November 5-8, 2026
Friday, Nov. 6 is dedicated to Thomasville activities
Thomasville Rotary Club members are asked to volunteer to participate at Pebble Hill
The scholars begin their Thomasville experience on Friday at Gentian Creek, hosted by Marta Jones-Turner; then travel to Pebble Hill Plantation for lunch with Thomasville Rotarians and learn from Will Watt III about the founding of GRSP by his grandfather, William A. Watt, Sr. This is followed by tours of Pebble Hill Plantation hosted by Whitney White, executive director. The last stop in Thomasville is at the GRSP Peace Plaza and William A. Watt Memorial Fountain, located at the downtown Marriott. GRSP celebrated 75 years in Spring 2021, and on January 22, 2022, dedicated the Peace Plaza and Will Watt Memorial Fountain. An historic marker there tells the GRSP story. GRSP is currently celebrating 80 years.
