Golf Tournament Update
There's Another Good Reason NOT to Miss this Week's Meeting!

In addition to our great speaker, you'll want to be early so you won’t a special appearance by our own PDG Bill Woulfin who will be giving us a full description of an amazing auction item he is donating to benefit our golf tournament: A full day on a deep-sea fishing trip for two on the Gulf with all foods, drinks and equipment provided. This auction item also includes two nights in the Orange Beach Holiday Inn and dinner at the Grand Marlin restaurant.

Bill only has 10 minutes on the agenda, so bring your questions and get ready to bring your checkbook to the golf tournament!

Navigating Branding Challenges: A Reflection on My First Year as Public Image Chair at the Rotary Club of Dunwoody

by Mark Galvin, Public Image Chair, RC of Dunwoody ...

As I reflect on my inaugural year serving as the Public Image Chair for the esteemed Rotary Club of Dunwoody, I am filled with gratitude for the wealth of knowledge and insight our members have shared with me. It's been a journey of discovery, particularly in understanding the significance of our club's rich history and the pivotal role it plays in shaping our identity.

One area that presented a challenge for me was navigating the intricacies of our club's branding. Balancing the preservation of our cherished traditions with the necessity to align with Rotary International's updated brand guidelines proved to be an enlightening experience. It's not uncommon for brands to undergo evolution to remain relevant and resonate with contemporary audiences. After all, staying current is essential in attracting new members and ensuring the vitality of our organization.

Attached, you'll find our brand standards, tailored specifically for the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, meticulously crafted to pay homage to our storied past while adhering to the directives set forth by Rotary International. [more]

News You Can Use
Where Do I Find the Club Directory/Roster?

Last week, I received an email from a member of our Dunwoody Family of Rotary asking whether we had an updated copy of the paper roster we used to have available at the check-in desk most Fridays - a creation of Teak Pacetti in his role as administrator.

You can use this link to go straight to a printable directory with pictures: pdf-directory (dunwoodyrotary.org). Be patient - it may take a little time to load. We'll try to include this link in the bulletin once a quarter. You can also go to our website for a searchable directory - learn how ... [more]
