Do You Want to Win a Raffle Ticket?

The fun starts Friday, when the first "free" raffle ticket will be awarded to the first person who can answer President Louise's question - it could come from this bulletin or from the slide show that runs at the meeting’s start! If it's a bulletin question, it might come from the bottle cap story - just saying, read to the end.

You’re a winner even if you don’t get the ticket – because you’re better informed about all that the Rotary Club of Dunwoody has to offer … and all that we do to make a difference! Start studying now! First question will be coming your way this Friday, March 28.

This Week's Speaker
Adam P. Forrand, Greater Perimeter Chamber of Commerce

Join us this Friday at the Embassy Suites to welcome Adam P. Forrand, President and CEO of the newly unified Greater Perimeter Chamber, which was formed by combining the Perimeter Chamber and the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber.

Adam led the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber since November of 2022. He joined the Sandy Springs Perimeter Chamber after serving as the Vice President – Education, Talent & Leadership Development for the Gwinnett Chamber and for Partnership Gwinnett (Georgia), the economic and community development initiative of the Gwinnett Chamber. His previous executive responsibilities included leading the efforts to connect and align business’ talent needs with the workforce, educational, and leadership ecosystems, while working to retain young professionals in the community.

Adam has made significant contributions to the success of a range of companies including his own marketing communications agency, a Seattle-based education technology start-up, and multinational education companies such as Pearson Learning and McGraw-Hill. Adam earned a BBA in Marketing from Stetson University (FL) where he met his wife Lori, a preschool teacher at Holy Innocents Episcopal School. Adam and Lori have three children, Arden (24, a professional actress), Alex (21, a junior at Berry College) and Aidan (19, a freshman at the University of Alabama-Birmingham).

Congratulations!
DeKalb Rotary Council Honors Two Dunwoody Rotarians

Congratulations to Meredith Morris and Jackie Cuthbert for special honors at last Friday's DeKalb Rotary Council.

Meredith Morris received the Show Rotary Cares award - established years ago in honor of our own PDG Bill Mulkey. The award is named for the Rotary International theme of Bill's year as governor - and each club in the Council selects someone to receive the award. Meredith has certainly displayed that in all she does for the club - particularly with respect to GRSP and the Laws of Life program.

Jackie Cuthbert was nominated by RCD and selected by the Council to receive the You are the Key award - established in honor of PDG Bob Grant, who was also an honorary Dunwoody Rotarian, installing our presidents and their core of officers/directors at many Dunwoody end of year celebrations - including Jackie's year as president. Jackie was recognized for her work on the club and district newsletters, her commitment to GRSP, and her support of the Rotary Foundation. She is the 11th Dunwoody Rotarian to be selected as the You are the Key recipient.
