PCMS vs Rotary quiz bowl challenge

We are looking for 5 volunteers to represent the Rotary Club of Dunwoody in a friendly competition against the Peachtree Charter Middle School (PCMS) Quizbowl team. The competition includes questions about history, literature, math and pop culture. Rotary Club of Dunwoody won last year in a very close competition.

Rotary members Tom Lashway and John Mills have been assisting PCMS teacher Ms. Shannon McCartha with practice this year.

Please contact Tom Lashway (tomlashway@gmail.com) if you would like to be a member of the Rotary team for this competition and help defend the title.

GRSP Leadership weekend a success

GRSP Students

International Director Louise Barden with the help of her very able husband Ron Bardin organized an outstanding GRSP Leadership weekend. 38 of this year's 45 GRSP students visited Dunwoody to participate in the three day leadership program, which was sponsored by the following Clubs:

Of course they also had the help of ~ 25 of our fellow Club members.
