Thank you to all the Rotarians who volunteered during the Salvation Army’s 2020 Red Kettle campaign. The annual fundraising drive is one of our club’s signature community service projects. Nearly 30 Rotarians braved both the pandemic and tough weather conditions to “ring the bell” at Walmart over a 5-day period. Donations support the local Salvation Army’s programs and services for the needy in our community. Pictured: Jay Flowers (as Santa) Janet Liles and Tom Everett
PS A new addition this year was a young man who went around to the kettle sites playing trumpet. His name was Sam. He is from Thomasville and a Freshman at Georgia State University. He was brought in by the S.A. to spread some Christmas joy.
